A smooth-bodied coffee with a pleasant aftertaste. Clean and consistent with berry, cedar, malt and tea-like notes.
PNG coffees are revered for their interesting acidity and high variety. Kenta A grade is grown in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea on the outskirts of the town of Gorοka at an altitude of 1.600m above sea level. Many New Guinea plantations are actually collections of traditional “coffee gardens”, small plots of as little as 20 plants grown alongside subsistence crops. With increased introduction of modern processing methods, these already incredible coffees continue to grow in quality and consistency. The labour in the processing operation is from the surrounding villages and ranges through the year from 20 up to 60 people in the peak season (this does not include the clan cherry pickers). The total community in the area who rely on the coffee exports is around 10.000 to 12.000 people.
All our coffees are hand picked from Rainforest Alliance certified farms to bring you the best single source beans.
We then hand roast in small batches.

Orders placed before midday Monday-Friday are shipped that afternoon. We ship via Royal Mail. Our standard shipping service is 2nd class post, so please allow up to 7 working days for delivery of your order. This may be longer during any national holiday periods.
We also offer free 2nd class shipping on orders within the UK. This is up to a minimum order value of £50.00
We now also have a click + collect option if you’re lucky enough to live close to the roastery in Glasgow. Orders will be available to collect from U-Roast after midday the following business day.

We dispatch orders around the world via Royal Mail. Please allow up to 25 working days for delivery of your order.
We reserve the right to alter postage fees in accordance with individual destinations. We will always inform the customer of any discrepancies from original order and await your confirmation to proceed before dispatch. Your understanding is appreciated. We cannot take responsibility for the any items once in transit. All items over £100 will be sent recorded delivery. Please request tracking information from us.
