El Boton is a single state coffee farm which has been planting coffee trees from the Maragogipe variety since 1931. The farm has a very special ecosystem: this land is located at 1350 metres above sea level, has an annual precipitation of 2400mm, and has humidity and soil conditions for growing the best Maragogipe beans in the market. The variety of coffee is very exotic, a long-standing tradition, and the quality of the process that can be easily identified in the appearance of the bean itself, the exquisite aroma, its balanced cup, and the beautiful roasting that can be given to these beans.
All our coffees are hand picked from Rainforest Alliance certified farms to bring you the best single source beans.
We then hand roast in small batches.

As coffee is a natural product that is perishable, we are unable to accept returns on coffee orders but from time to time we accept mistakes can happen. If there has been an error with your order please contact our customer services team immediately at:
Orders placed before midday Monday-Friday are shipped that afternoon. We ship via Royal Mail. Our standard shipping service is 2nd class post, so please allow up to 7 working days for delivery of your order. This may be longer during any national holiday periods.
We also offer free 2nd class shipping on orders within the UK. This is up to a minimum order value of £50.00
We now also have a click + collect option if you’re lucky enough to live close to the roastery in Glasgow. Orders will be available to collect from U-Roast after midday the following business day.

We dispatch orders around the world via Royal Mail. Please allow up to 25 working days for delivery of your order.
We reserve the right to alter postage fees in accordance with individual destinations. We will always inform the customer of any discrepancies from original order and await your confirmation to proceed before dispatch. Your understanding is appreciated. We cannot take responsibility for the any items once in transit. All items over £100 will be sent recorded delivery. Please request tracking information from us.
